As a sample we have heartwood, which is an ESP32 based nostr signer, apps can reach via USB with a linux daemon or in wifi mode, where it listens to nostr relays. Basically you can sign from anywhere and the keys never leave the hardware – in addition you can derive unlimited personas from a master key (nsec-tree)
