Bloom Network is a place-based social network connecting people doing local community action across 50+ communities in 17 countries. Members find others near them, discover local projects and businesses, and share their work through the feed and chapter hubs. Underneath it runs an open economic protocol: members log community actions, peers verify them, contributors earn a reputation token proportional to hours given, and grant funds are distributed directly to individuals and local treasuries in USDC – no applications, no institutional gatekeeper. We’re transitioning from nonprofit to a member-owned cooperative, so the people caring for the places they live own and govern the platform and protocol.
