The last fully preserved first-generation wastewater treatment facility in the world. Built in 1906. Art Nouveau industrial architecture with original machinery intact. On the UNESCO Tentative List. A venue as radical as the ideas discussed within.
Technology is terrain. Biology is leverage. Networks carry power.
This is where systems are examined to understand how control is built, maintained, and resisted. Not to admire them, but to learn how they can be altered, rerouted, or abandoned.
Between freedom and capture, new forms take root. This is not a conference. This is a gathering rooted in autonomy.

After twelve hours of talks, workshops and debates, it is time to switch frequencies.
HIGH LIGHTS is the official Saturday night rave of DARK Prague. A curated lineup of DJs, industrial surroundings, and one more reason to stay awake.
We’re introducing a new Project Hub — a space for hackerspaces, educational initiatives, intentional communities, independent networks, local economies, cultural collectives, and other projects building practical alternatives outside traditional institutions.
Not a startup expo. Not a sponsor showcase. A place to discover communities, exchange ideas, find collaborators, and meet the people building parallel systems in the real world.

A dedicated community space for workshops, discussions, live experiments, and hands-on collaboration, hosted by Logos. Throughout the weekend, attendees can expect practical sessions, ecosystem updates, interactive demos, and collaborative experiments exploring decentralized communication, identity, archiving, coordination, and other freedom technologies. Whether you’re already part of the ecosystem or simply curious about what’s coming next, the Logos Attic will be the place to meet builders, exchange ideas, and get involved.
All areas include wheelchair access and accessible facilities. Please contact us in advance if you require additional assistance.
The majority of DARK EVENTS are all-ages events. Children under 15 may attend free of charge when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Student ticket holders aged 15–26 must present a valid student ID at the entrance. Failure to do so may result in denied entry.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times during the event.
Please note that the raves are strictly 18+.
A curated selection of food trucks, vendors, bars, coffee, and non-alcoholic options will be available throughout the event.
All vendors will accept both card payments and cryptocurrencies.
There are many ways to become part of DARK EVENTS. Attend the conference, volunteer with the team, become a partner, or collaborate on one of the many projects surrounding the event.
If you would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
The official language of the conference is English. All talks, workshops, panels, and stage discussions will be conducted in English.
DARK.EVENTS is made possible through the support of aligned partners, sponsors, and communities who share our interest in open technologies, autonomy, privacy, and independent thinking.
If you would like to support one of our events, host a stage, organize a workshop, or explore a broader collaboration, we’d love to hear from you.
Most talks will be recorded and published after the event. Speakers may choose in advance whether they wish their session to be recorded.
An official event photographer and videographer will be present throughout the conference. Upon arrival, attendees will have the option to use a clearly visible privacy sticker indicating that they do not wish to be photographed or filmed. Our media team will respect these preferences whenever reasonably possible.
Professional photographic and videographic equipment may not be used without prior approval from the organisers. The use of wearable recording devices, including smart glasses with photo or video recording capabilities (such as Meta Ray-Ban glasses), is not permitted.
Phone photography is permitted. However, attendees may not photograph or record other participants without their consent. Privacy sticker holders should never be photographed or recorded without explicit permission.
Privacy is one of our core values. We do not publish large galleries of attendee photos, and our focus is on documenting the event rather than individual participants. Anyone repeatedly ignoring privacy requests or photographing participants without consent may be warned by the organisers and, in serious or repeated cases, may be asked to leave the event without a refund.
If you appear in any published photo or video and would prefer it to be removed, simply contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
